What you pay for
Generating a notice, downloading or printing a PDF, and emailing it yourself are free on this proof of concept. Print-and-mail and similar extras are listed as coming soon. When they go live, you would pay postage and processing only if you opt in:
- USPS First-Class — $2.00 per recipient address (stamp is $0.82 as of July 2026; the rest is print and envelope)
- USPS Certified Mail with green-card return receipt — $12.00 per recipient address (USPS pieces total $11.02)
- Optional tip or donation — any amount you choose. Tips are not tax-deductible. This project is not a 501(c)(3) charity.

When we mail
We do not send a physical letter until Stripe or PayPal reports that payment succeeded. If you cancel checkout, nothing is mailed and nothing is charged.

Payments
Cards, Link, and (when enabled) PayPal through Stripe Checkout, or PayPal Checkout directly. We do not store full card numbers. Processors may send a receipt to the email they collect. Refunds for unsent mail: contact the operator; once USPS has the letter we generally cannot recall it.
